Podcast Production Course
In collaboration with “OX Music Lab” the Podcast Production Course is dedicated to those who want to develop the basic knowledge needed to create a podcast. This Teacher Training Course Ka1 aims to provide basic technical skills necessary to record, edit, mix, and master their podcast. It will introduce the world of audio to the participants leading them to the creative and narrative side of it. The course will include 15 hours combining theory and practice to record a full podcast episode.
The course is accessible to all and there are no entry requirements, but a curious attitude is surely suggested.
Course description
The Podcast Production Course covers various topics. It starts with an Introduction, outlining course goals and podcast basics. Then, it covers Basic Audio Knowledge, exploring different microphone types and digital sound. Next is transitioning From Idea to Recording, focusing on organization and scripting. In the Editing phase, participants learn about critical listening and essential editing tools. Music and Sound FX are also discussed, along with Mixing and Mastering techniques. Finally, the course addresses Podcast Release strategies, including platform release and promotion.
During the course activities one day will be dedicated to a tour/visit of places, art and touristic cities (Firenze, Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Viareggio, Livorno, Arezzo, Massa e Carrara, Vinci, Montecatini Alto, ecc) museums or enterprices, tasting experiences and local tour.

The ‘Podcast Production’ Teacher Training Course Ka1 is held during the third week of each month.
