Erasmus Plus stands as the European program spanning education, training, youth, and sport for the period 2021-2027. It extends grants for diverse endeavors, such as student work placements abroad and training courses for educators.

Key Action 1 within Erasmus Plus presents an exclusive opportunity for teachers, lecturers, principals, and other educational staff to engage in international training courses across various European countries. The home institution must submit an application to secure the grant for sending its staff members abroad for training.

For further details, you can explore the EACEA website, your Erasmus National Agency website, and refer to the Erasmus + Programme guide.

Schools, universities, vocational education and training (VET) institutions, as well as adult education organizations, are all eligible to receive comprehensive funding to participate in our courses through an Erasmus Plus KA1 mobility grant.

This opportunity extends to teachers, lecturers, educators, headteachers, school managers, administrators, and all other staff members, whether involved in teaching or not, who can benefit from attending structured training courses like the ones we offer.

It’s worth noting that a diverse range of organizations can be considered eligible as adult education organizations, including cultural institutions, musical associations, non-profit organizations, and any entities providing formal or non-formal education to adults.

For clarification on whether your institution qualifies as a sending organization under Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (covering school education, vocational education and training, higher education, and adult education sectors), we recommend consulting your Erasmus+ National Agency.

The Erasmus Plus KA1 grant comprehensively covers all expenses for attending our training courses, including travel, subsistence, and course fees. While the funding provides lump sums to offset some of these costs, entrusting us to manage the practical arrangements ensures adequate coverage. With the allocated budget, we guarantee single-room accommodation, full board, and cultural activities during free time. You can review how we handle practical arrangements on our website.

For each teacher/staff member sent abroad, the Erasmus Plus KA1 funding provides:

  • A lump sum, determined by the distance from your city to the course venue, to cover travel expenses.
  • A lump sum of EUR 79-180 per day (depending on your National Agency and the destination country) to cover individual support/subsistence costs (e.g., board, lodging, local transport). Participants can request 2 additional days for travel, so we recommend requesting 9 days of individual support when attending our courses.
  • A lump sum of EUR 100 to cover the course fee (up to a maximum of EUR 800).
  • A lump sum of EUR 100 to cover costs directly related to the training’s implementation, including preparation (pedagogical, intercultural, linguistic), monitoring and support of participants during mobility, validation of learning outcomes, and dissemination activities.
  • Additional funds to cover 100% of the costs directly related to participants with fewer opportunities and their accompanying persons.

Participants using environmentally friendly travel means (such as bus, train, car, etc.) can request up to 4 travel days.

Read carefully the Erasmus+ guide notably the sections related to key action 1.
