Continuative education 0-6
The continuative education 0-6 is based on the peers education defined as “the teaching or sharing of informations about health, values and behavior, by members of the same age and with a similar social status”.
During our work inside the childcare services, we’ve developed a lot of experiences to share in this type of education. The Teacher Training Course Ka1 will evaluate and create knowledge about the peer education strategy.
This educational strategy relies on the influence that peers have within a group, in terms of attitudes, behaviors and social skills. Peers are also perceived by peers as credible subjects in conveying a message, whether this is related to health or even deviant behaviors.
Course description
Teachers of this course are mainly internal to the Cooperative itself, therefore operators and employees who are familiar with the services. The course will give practical definitions about the peer education and the continuative education related with the everyday work of the teachers.
This course will be interactive with the services where the continuative education is in continuous development.
During the course activities one day will be dedicated to a tour/visit of places, art and touristic cities (Firenze, Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa, Viareggio, Livorno, Arezzo, Massa e Carrara, Vinci, Montecatini Alto, ecc) museums or sports enterprices, tasting experiences and local tour.

The ‘Continuative Education 0-6’ Teacher Training Course Ka1 is held during the first week of each month.
